My Story

Hi! I’m Nora, an American digital nomad hailing from the city of Chicago. My wanderlust journey commenced in 2020, and since then, I’ve been fortunate to traverse an extensive list of countries, each offering its own unique tapestry of culture, history, and breathtaking landscapes.

From the sun-kissed shores of Croatia to the enchanting allure of Serbia’s historic cities, I’ve wandered through the cobbled streets of Istanbul, Turkey, and marveled at the ancient wonders of Egypt. The sprawling savannas of South Africa, the picturesque towns of Poland, and the vibrant cultures of various destinations have all left indelible marks on my soul.

Venturing further, I’ve explored the quaint villages of Georgia (the country), wandered through the iconic landmarks of Italy, and savored the rich history of Austria. From the majestic peaks of the Swiss Alps to the romantic charm of Paris, France, and the rugged beauty of Scotland’s landscapes, every destination has fueled my passion for adventure and discovery.

In May/June 2023, I fulfilled a dream by embarking on the iconic Camino Frances, finding solace and inspiration along its storied path. Now, with the allure of the Camino Portugues beckoning, I eagerly anticipate my next pilgrimage, tracing the coastal beauty of Portugal’s Camino from Porto in May 2024.

Amidst my global escapades, I’ve found a sense of belonging in Split, Croatia, where I’ve made a home away from home, embracing the laid-back Mediterranean lifestyle and forging connections with fellow travelers and locals alike.

Join me as I continue to weave my way through the tapestry of the world, seeking new adventures, immersing myself in diverse cultures, and embarking on the transformative journey of the Camino de Santiago. From the cobblestone streets of Europe to the vibrant landscapes of Africa and beyond, there’s always a new horizon waiting to be explored.
